You guys watch the Olympics opening ceremony on Friday night? Fairly outrageous. Curious as to what the budget is on recreating the entirety of British history from the pastoral age through the industrial revolution to the 60’s explosion on full stadium scale… Anyhow, Arctic Monkeys got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform in the Olympic Stadium. They fired off “I Bet You Look Good On the Dancefloor” and then covered the Beatles’ “Come Together”. I love the psychedelic butterfly fanfare when they start “Come Together”.
