As talented and capable as Dirty Projectors certainly are, occasionally I just wish they would venture into less complicated territory, much like they did on their excellent 2012 effort Swing Lo, Magellan. They offered another good taste of that wish during a recent visit to Austrailia’s Triple J station. They performed a pretty damn great on-the-spot cover of Usher & Diplo’s “Climax“. This guy can at least appreciate those harmonies.
