Psyche rock outfit Tame Impala’s new album Lonerism is easily one of my own favorites of 2012 and several of our readers, judging by recent comments. Lonerism doesn’t drop until October 9 on Modular, though tracks “Apocalypse Dreams” and “Elephant” have been streaming. The latter got a new video today. It’s directed by Yoshi Sodeoka, who helmed Yeasayer’s “Longevity” and “Henrietta” films earlier this summer. Sodeoka retains that same psychedelic visual theme, capturing a live take of “Elephant” and warping it. Check it out below and watch for our review of Lonerism in the near future.
