Treasure Island Festival descends upon its namesake island in the San Francisco Bay on October 15-16. This year is the fifth annual installment and has a pretty stacked line-up. Headliners are Empire of the Sun and Death Cab for Cutie, with additional acts including Weeknd, Death From Above 1979, Beach House, Explosions in the Sky, Flying Lotus and Chromeo. But that doesn’t do the full lineup justice, so check it out right here. Festival organizers are also vowing to ensure nobody misses any artists at the festival, so the schedule doesn’t include any overlaps. The fifth year anniversary also includes several night time shows along the lines of August’s Outside Lands in SF. Nighttime performers include Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Head and the Heart, JFK of DFA, the Drums and Jens Lekman. You can purchase tickets for those shows and GA festival passes right here.
