Seminal minimalist, bedroom tune trio The XX have announced a brand new album. The follow up to their 2009 eponymous debut album will be titled Coexist and arrives September 11 in the US (a day earlier internationally). According to the band, “After a long time on the road, we took a break, created our own studio and wrote these new songs that we’re so looking forward to playing to you.” We posted a new track from the XX called “Open Eyes” in December, but stay tuned for new singles.
