Sound Excited podcast #13 brought us Peter Quirk of the Cave Singers. The Seattle band expanded to a four-man operation earlier this year, as they recorded and released their new album Naomi. Peter and I discussed the evolution to a more optimistic sound from previous record No Witch to Naomi, the addition of member Morgan Henderson (Fleet Foxes), working with producer Phil Ek (Built to Spill, Band of Horses, Modest Mouse), their relationship to Seattle and more.
