Bloomington, Indian four-piece Hoops recently signed to Fat Possum and will release their self-titled EP on August 26. Hoops shared the EP’s first single “Cool 2” along with the announcement. Fans of Real Estate, Mac DeMarco, Ariel Pink, Woods and DIIV will likely vibe on the band’s lo-fi, guitar-driven pop. Hoops “Cool 2” transports you to the scene of a July sunset radiating through marine layer coastal haze.
