Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day! Hopefully you’re either a) not reading this since you’re out relaxing in nature/the lake/the beach or b) you’re still out there, just reading this via a smartphone. Labor Day, first established by in 1887 by the state of Oregon. I’m in Oregon now, so I’ll celebrate extra hard for everyone. Also, history note, the legislation to make Labor Day a national holiday was rushed through congress because they wanted to quell feelings regarding the US Military killing American workers in the Pullman Strike. Thank you to those that made today happen for us, and here’s John Lennon’s “Working Class Hero” to honor them.
