Oh hey, happy Monday! Hope you’re beatin the heat, wherever you may be. So I know we just posted a different Beatles song for a recent Happy Monday, but c’mon, they’re the Beatles. This track is off of their very first LP Please Please Me, which is full of brilliant pop songs from the blossoming band. It’s actually the third song on that album, which is incredible to think about. Personally, I can’t imagine ever constructing a song this simple yet beautiful as a teenager. But alas, it was actually not their tune. Rather Arthur Alexander originally penned it and the Beatles covered. It’s still one of my favorite tracks by them. Enjoy.
