Seattle’s accomplished music staple Damien Jurado will complete his album trilogy this spring with Visions of Us on the Land. For those unfamiliar with Jurado’s trilogy, the endeavor began with 2012’s excellent Maraqopa and continued with 2014’s Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Sun. The trilogy pairs Jurado with renowned producer & collaborator Richard Swift (Black Keys, Gardens & Villa, The Shins).
On the heels of the new album announcement, we also have Damien Jurado’s “Exit 353”, the first single. “Exit 353” features the same lush, expansive production of the previous two albums. Jurado’s acoustic guitar and vocals are accompanied with synth and an eventual buzzing lead electric guitar. You can stream Damien Jurado “Exit 353” below and pre-order Visions of Us on the Land.
