Alcohol Poisoning Killed Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse’s death in July has been determined as an alcohol related incident, a British coroner reports. The Washington Post reports that Winehouse was over five times the legal British drunk driving limit. Coroner Suzanne Greenaway officially ruled it as a “death by misadventure”. Drugs were not a factor in the death, despite Winehouse’s troubled past.
