Sound Excited podcast #8 brings us Seattle-based band Tangerine. Tangerine originally jumped onto our radar with their single “Feel This Way” and the announcement of their Radical Blossom EP earlier this summer. While the Pacific Northwest is a deep well for incredible music, often times we hear music that, in short, seems to complement the long, dark, grey winters. However, Tangerine presents summery, pleasant, upbeat, sunshine pop. Don’t get me wrong, as I native Northwesterner I love our music. But there is a very refreshing and unique quality to Tangerine’s tunes.

All four band members jumped on for our podcast to discuss their new EP, said PNW music traits, their single “Hanford Riviera” and nuclear waste, NPR coverage and more.
