Kithkin has been no stranger to our site, both in the past year and most recently with SXSW. After a feverish run at SXSW with nearly 10 shows packed into the Austin mayhem, the Seattle band showed no hesitancy or fatigue when headlining our own Cascadia showcase. After a 30 hour drive back to the PNW, they’re only building more momentum with the release of their first official music video for “Fallen Giants”. Kithkin has been hard at work in the studio with Shawn Simmons (Head & the Heart, The Maldives, Lemolo) on their debut full length album, which will be out later this year.

The “Fallen Giants” video demonstrates the true Cascadian *nature*. Ben Anderson and Sawyer Purman of Altrac Productions filmed and produced the video. More impressively, as you will see in the video, it was lit entirely with flashlights. The obvious attention to detail here comes through, it’s a visually remarkable accompaniment to a song I’ve already come to love in the live setting. Kithkin will re-enter said live setting a number of times in the coming months, including Treefort Festival this weekend. Dates beneath the video.
