Did you catch Lana Del Rey’s recent cover of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box“? It was another stunt by the LDR campaign to cook up some buzz and resulted in a somewhat decent cover of Kurt Cobain’s classic song. Anyhow, Courtney Love decided she needed another reason for everyone to realize she’s a horrible human being and leapt on the opportunity. In a series of class-act tweets (see: below), Love exclaims that “Heart Shaped Box” is about her vagina. Furthermore, she claims she wrote part of the song and wishes that Lana think about Love’s lady parts every time she sings the song live. Anyone who attended my 9th grade Pacific Northwest History semester project presentation on Nirvana (all 8 million of you, that is), will know I suspect Courtney’s foul play in Kurt’s death.
