As a Pacific Northwest-based site, Modest Mouse has obviously impacted all our hearts, ears and tastes. Personally, I’ve spent long PNW winters sorting out The Moon & Antartica, driven many a journey across Washington to This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing to Think About and viewed beautiful summer sunsets to “Talking Shit About A Pretty Sunshine“. Plus their 2011 Sasquatch set was one of my favorite I’ve ever seen at the festival.

Anyhow, this is a long introduction to say that Modest Mouse has a new documentary film out about the making/recording/background of their 1997 Lonesome Crowded West. You can view the full film for free below.
