At the beginning of May, we shared the second track released by Sixth & College. As we mentioned, the duo consists of longtime collaborators Will Proulx (production) and Jeremy Porcha (vocals). May’s “I Can Love You” followed their original release, “Bounce Off”. As “I Can Love You” caught some wind and piled up spins, Sixth & College forged on to drop a new track this week.
Sixth & College “Acid Wash (We Don’t Care)” opens with vocal crooning and steady guitar strumming as Jeremy Porcha vocalizes a dgaf creed. “This my party, I’m gonna bang if I want,” Porcha offers before singing, “we don’t care, no we don’t care.” You might consider “Acid Wash (We Don’t Care) a more seasoned take on what Wiz was channeling. Proulx’s sharp production is subtlety on point and continues to complement Porcha’s vocal arrangements. The at ease mantra of Sixth & College “Acid Wash (We Don’t Care”) arrives just in time for the holiday weekend as summer truly sets in. Here’s to logging at least a few endless nights over the next few months.
