Dr Dre’s newer LA protege is Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick’s been busy with releases on Aftermath Records and is no new stranger (as his Coachella main stage performance signaled). Kendrick released his new single “Swiming Pools (Drank)” off his upcoming LP good kid m.A.A.d city. That album is out 10/2 on Aftermath. This track is apparently about Kendrick’s family’s struggles with alcohol.
