Tonight is a big night for history. NASA just landed the Curiosity on Mars, entering a new chapter in knowledge about the Red Planet. And Jamaican sprinter just set the Olympic record and became the faster human ever. Yeah, read that sentence again. In the fastest 100M race ever, with all but one of the competitors finishing under 10 seconds, Usain Bolt won with an Olympic record 9.63 seconds. This was perhaps the most stacked 100M spring field ever too, so hats off to Bolt for demonstrating he’s still the fastest man on earth. More praise to Bolt for also having an auto-tuned rap song about being the fastest man in history. I mean that’s a hell of a claim, why not rap about it? Probably a waste of your next two and a half minutes, but possibly a source of great entertainment if your brain is as easily pleased by cleverly placed sports celebrity soundbites as mine is.
