Anyone familiar with the music of Chaz Bundick (Toro y Moi) is also familiar with his eclectic range and genre traversing. 2013’s Anything In Return demonstrated a departure from previous Toro material, ushering in an electronic, pop-centric palette. Last years’ Les Sins Michael LP stretched those sounds even further, charting into house territory. This year’s What For? largely traded in those synths for guitar, in a 70’s era, guitar-focused effort.

If that wasn’t enough for you, Chaz shared new single “room for 1zone” couldn’t be much different than the recent What For?. Toro y Moi “room for 1zone” ventures back into beat-based electronic, leaning more towards the Michael material and what you might hear during his DJ sets. Kudos to Chaz for mixing it up yet again.
