While Philly rapper Tunji Ige first appeared on our site earlier this year via a collab track “Don’t Do Too Much” with Makonnen, Ige’s debut arrived in 2014. Following The Love Project, Ige opted to leave college, pursue music full time and begin touring more aggressively.
Yesterday, we received Tunji Ige’s Missed Calls, a new seven track EP that finds the rapper pushing his boundaries. Missed Calls ranges from poignant to introspective to ambitious to aggressive as Ige tests territories. Philly producer Noah Breakfast shares duties with Ige to create lush backing tracks.
