Cave Singers Naomi

Seattle’s The Cave Singers wonderfully bridge the wooded folk of the Pacific Northwest and hard-biting, gritty classic rock vibes. I previously compared them to a blend between the Fleet Foxes (whom they’ve toured with) and the Black Keys, a reductionist comparison, but still not a bad talking point. If you dig either of those bands, I’d highly recommend tuning in. Anyhow, they’ve announced their fourth studio album, which happened to be produced by Foxes’ fellow producer Phil Ek (Built to Spill, Modest Mouse, Beach House, etc). It’s titledĀ Naomi and it arrives March 5 via Jagjaguwar. Moreover, they’ve released the first single, “Have to Pretend”. Tracklist plus the single below.
