Sigur Ros has a new video courtesy of director Ryan McGinley. The video, for “Varúð”, was shot in NYC and McGinley described it as “my poem to New York City”. And check out Sigur Ros “Ekki Mukk” video as well. The Icelandic group will be at Outside Lands the weekend after this.
Sigur Ros is back with a new album on May 29th. The epic Icelandic band will release Valtari via XL Records. While we wait for that date, they’ve got a new video for track “Ekki Mukk”. I’m assuming that title is in their made up language, but maybe an Icelandic reader can confirm/deny that for us.
