Cat Power recently announced she’s struggling with financial and health issues, thus cancelled all of her upcoming European tour dates. This means we may not see Chan Marshall for a bit, while she hopefully recovers well and safe. But she did stop by Conan O’s to perform “Cherokee” off her new album Sun.

Cat Power, aka Chan Marshall, will return with her first original-material album since her 2006 gem The Greatest. The new album, Sun, will arrive on September 4 via Matador Records.
