After a long hiatus, the Strokes delivered their much awaited new album Angles in 2011. Many people, myself included, weren’t as thrilled about it as our hopes would’ve wished. The Strokes are part of the group too, by the way. They’ve mentioned in interviews that disjointed Angles recording methods weren’t enjoyable. They even said the band wanted to jump into recording/releasing a new album as soon as possible. So now, it looks like we might have the first leads on that new album. The Strokes have released a new track called “One Way Trigger”. Personally, I’m diggin it a lot. Features Julian Casablancas in the falsetto range, plus that tight Strokes rhythm we all love, no?
