Since first grade, I’ve been good buddies with a wiley, creative individual by the name of Brian McCauley Johnson. In his adult years, Bri has begun a career in film and television. Bri “McHolly”–a nickname I coined and always hoped would stick better than it ever did–worked on the Bachelor(ette) and CSI: Miami. This week several media outlets reported on the fact that Brian’s new script will be turned into a show courtesy of a deal with 20th Century Fox. Now additionally, Bri has always been a music man (hence this post). He was in a popular band competing in our local town’s RAWK Final Four competition in high school. We collaborated on a rap project in high school. And Bri played drums on an album I wrote several years ago. All things said, Bri put together a playlist of his favorite tracks from 2012 thus far.
