Many things have changed for Portland’s Radiation City since their last full-length album Animals in the Median in 2013. Most notably, the band has changed several members and jumped to the Polyvinyl label. Fortunately, Rad City will return with new album Synesthetica on February 12, 2016.

Founding members Cameron Spies and Lizzy Ellison reportedly wrote Synesthestica without the rest of the band, before coming to the Bay Area to record with John Vanderslice at Tiny Telephone Studios. Unknown Mortal Orchestra drummer Riley Geare also jumped in to fulfill percussive duties. Ultimately, we now have the new Radiation City “Juicy” single as a taste of what Synesthestica will be.
