Big news, y’all. Ben Gibbard‘s classic side-project, and likely many of our first introduction to electronic indie music, the Postal Service is reuniting to perform Coachella 2013 as well as a number of unannounced festivals this year. Additionally, Postal Service will release a 10 year anniversary edition of its single, classic album Give Up. Yeah, it’s been ten years. Chew on that. Sub Pop will release the new version in February. Both Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello have said that Postal Service is not recording new material. But still, live shows should fuel our nostalgia for a while, right?
