While all of SXSW 2013 was a wild and exciting time, this past Saturday the 16th was particularly special for Apes on Tape. Our first official SXSW showcase, Cascadia: the Greater Pacific Northwest showcase, went down at TenOak in Austin. Personally, I could not have hoped for it to go as well as it did. We had a capacity turn out, an excited crowd, great dynamics between everyone there, NPR showed up to cover the event, and the Cascadia vibes were pure & strong. We’ll share the NPR video coverage of the sets when they go live, but enjoy Tom Roth’s photos of the event below.
