MGMT recently took the MGMT to perform Pink Floyd’s song “Lucifer Sam”, but now they’re gearing up for two new live shows. The band announced that they will be playing two shows at the Guggenheim Museum in NY on November 10 and 11. The show will complement the art exhibit of Maurizio Cattelan. MGMT had the following to say on the shows:
“We’re creating a musical experience that works for the building, and for the construction and presentation of the Cattelan exhibition. The art exhibition is done in a completely original way, so it deserves music which is completely original. The Guggenheim performance won’t be a traditional MGMT show, but it will be ____.”
