Every time I listen to catchy-ass track “Higher Ground” from TNGHT’s club ready debut EP, I start freestyling in my brain. I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone hopped on that perfectly lonely instrumental beat. Lo and behold Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar did.
