Godspeed You! Black Emperor are a Canadian band probably responsible, at least partially, for a lot of the  post-rock you might have tuned into. While Godspeed’s unleashed some epic instrumental material over their career, they haven’t released a new album since 2002’s Yanqui U.X.O. Well, that absence is no longer. They’ve announced a new album titled ALLELUJAH! DON’T BEND! ASCEND! . It will be out October 16. Or, if you can catch Godspeed on your, apparently they’re carrying the album with them.
