If you’ve been reeling for new Real Estate music since the band dropped Atlas last year, you’re in luck. The band’s Matt Mondanile has recorded solo as Ducktails over the past few years. Whether you’re familiar with Mondanile’s four previous albums or not, Ducktails “Headbanging in the Mirror” could ease your Real Estate fix. While it’s obviously not the full Real Estate band, Ducktails “Headbanging in the Mirror” features a similar style of breezy, summer-welcoming, pleasant pop. Ducktails new album St Catherine will be out July 24 via Domino Records.
