Celebrating their fifth year in existence, music site Consequence of Sound put together a “100 Best Songs Ever” list. Now, lists are arbitrary and sometimes excessive, especially when an “ever” tag is included. But hey, we’re guilty of them as well. Better yet, they always provide some conversational fodder for beer drinkin’ with your friends. CoS’ list places the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads and the Beach Boys in the top five. The latter’s “God Only Knows” took the top honors.
