As I write this, NASA’s Curiosity rover has successfully landed on Mars and has the first photos are transmitting back to NASA. This is the most expensive exploration to another planet in known human history. The Curiosity rover will be delivering new high res photos of Mars and, presumably, our newest canon of knowledge on the red planet. This is some big shit, you guys. Anyhow, you can check out the high res photos as they arrive, watch a live stream of the NASA celebration (embedded below) and follow the rover on Twitter. I’d like to think that the robot AI on board is listening to Spaceman 3’s “Spaceship” track as it breaks history. In fact, I’m sure it is… Congrats to the team and go AMERICA!
