After sharing “I Know” and “No Justice” earlier this spring, Oakland’s Astronauts Etc have shared another new track from their debut album Mind Out Wandering. Astronauts Etc “Eye to Eye” is one more glimpse of what’s shaping up to be one of the best albums out of the Bay Area thus far into 2015. The subtle grooves, tight riff, hypnotic continuity and Ferraro’s settling vocals build on the previous two singles.

For those new to Astronauts Etc, the Oakland band is helmed by Anthony Ferraro (keys in Toro y Moi), and features Bells Atlas‘ Derek Barber & Doug Stuart, Waterstrider‘s Scott Brown and Aaron Gold. Mind Out Wandering was recorded live to tape at John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone studios.
