MGMT announced they will be releasing their third album this summer. There’s no official album title (though apparently they might just call it MGMT) and no set release date. But the dudes released what is presumably the album’s first single “Alien Days” for Record Store Day this weekend. The release was a cassette single, cassingle, and you might be able to snag one at your local shop still. Anyhow, “Alien Days” hints MGMT will continue with their exploration of psychedelia. The drop at :55 gets things movin along. Very curious to hear the full new album.
