The Strokes announced their new album & follow-up to 2011’s Angles earlier this year. And they’ve already shared a handle of teaser’s for said album Comedown Machine. But the full deal is streaming on over at Pitchfork Advance. Have a listen. As a major strokes fan, Angles was a bit disappointing, and the band agreed on that, possibly due to a disjointed recording effort. But on first listen, Comedown Machine is excellent. More subtle awesomeness, grittier and just feels like the band caught their groove again.
