While Interpol has not released a new album since their self-titled 2010 effort, leadman Paul Banks has announced a new album. This new LP will also be self-titled, for Banks that is. Banks arrives on Matador Records October 23. I suppose we classify this as a solo effort and not an Interpol record. Regardless, the album’s first released track “The Base” is streaming below.
