If you weren’t/aren’t a huge fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers or aren’t friends with musician Michael Sinodis, you may not know that John Frusciante was the former guitarist of the Peps. John’s the same guitarist responsible for about 70% of the most iconic riffs from the 90’s. And even if you don’t dig the Peppers, you’ve gotta respect John’s ability. He’s had a pretty extensive solo career as well, I’d advise diving into it. John’s got a brand new EP titled Letur-Lefr out this month. You can stream the whole thing below. It’s much more electronic, experimental, and fragmented than any RHCP work. I’d also advise reading John’s blog post regarding his new adventure into electronic music. He’s a very thoughtful and intelligent guy when it comes to composition and music.
