Seattle’s electronic outfit Beat Connection shared their first new release since last fall’s full length Product 3. “For The Record” officially arrives via Anti Records. Following their their Surf Noir debut in 2011, Beat Connection have kept up the admirable trait of switching styles and voyaging into new aural territory. “For The Record ” furthers the trend here. Beat Connection’s Reed Juenger noted that the new song, “represents a step in a new direction for us, exploring new sonic textures and adding a bit of wonky and off kilter rhythmic intrigue.”
