London’s SG Lewis has been of one the brighter new producers of 2016. Lewis’ January track “All Night” with Dornik and May’s “Yours” are excellent introductions. Likewise, Maryland’s Gallant dropped one of the spring’s finer albums with his future soul LP Ology. So when the two paired up for new track “Holding Back”, expectations were reasonably.

SG Lewis “Holding Back” featuring Gallant rides a smooth, steady beat paired with muted funk guitar as Gallant’s vocals burst forth.
