Perry Farrell’s brainchild Lollapalooza continues to expand its reach as the dates and line-ups for Lollapalooza 2012 Chile & Brazil have been announced. The festivals, which premiered last year, will take place on back-to-back weekends this spring. Lollapalooza Chile takes place March 31-April 1 in Santiago’s O’Higgins Park. Lollapalooza Brazil is the following weekend of April 7-8 at Jockey Club de São Paulo, Brazil.

Not so dissimilar to Coachella’s double weekend arrangement, the two festivals share quite similar line-ups as well. The shared acts are Foo Fighters, MGMT, Arctic Monkeys, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Band of Horses, TV on the Radio, Foster the People, Cage the Elephant, Thievery Corporation and more.
