On July 18, LCD Soundsystem’s “Shut Up and Play the Hits” film documentary hits American theaters. The film chronicles the famed New York dance-rock band’s final moments and show as a band, before calling her quits for good. I was fortunate enough to see it at SXSW and it’s marvelous–check out the review here. Anyhow, a new four part series documenting LCD Soundsytem’s relationship with New York City hit the intrawebs today. It features Nick Kroll and Reggie Watts.
