In 2012, Toronto songwriter Julian Hacquebard created his new music project Send Medicine. After moving to Los Angeles shortly thereafter, Hacquebard fleshed out Send Medicine into a five-piece band. Send Medicine weaves together psych, folk and surf in a combo that may appeal to Devendra Banhart, freak folk and perhaps even T Rex-era folk.
This week, the band drops their debut album Scary Aquarius Daughter. You can stream album standout “Tall Flowers” below and the whole Scary Aquarius Daughter album here. The LP is also available to buy via iTunes.
