A few weeks ago, Thee Oh Sees announced some pretty devastating news to their fans that they have entered an indefinite hiatus. While that term fluctuates in meaning these days, often that means things are done. However, yesterday some positive follow-up news arose. First, band leader John Dwyer is releasing a solo LP, Hubba Bubba, under the moniker Damaged Bug. That album is out February 25. Apparently, Dwyer recored it with drum machines, synths and some handmade electronics. It's certainly an interesting departure from Thee Oh Sees. Second, word is that Thee Oh Sees have another album coming out this spring. Exhale and enjoy.
